Due to rapid increase in demand for applications to be used in many more devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and smart watches etc., mobile Testing certification has been becoming more and more critical. It is also essential for a promotion, and career change and getting jobs as well.

Post-training Exam: For those who get trainings from KSTQB Accredited Training Providers (ATP)

KSTQB Mobile Tester certification is based on the ASTQB Mobile Tester syllabus (body of knowledge) that was created by a team of international mobile SW testing experts, and therefore, it is internationally recognized certification, for example, in North America, Asia, Europe, South America, Africa and Australia etc. Specifically, Mobile Tester certification allows testers to widen their understanding of testing leaned from ISTQB® Foundation and how they can be applied in the actual field by dealing with topics as follows:
Planning, designing, and implementing test cases for mobile applications
Work with other team members to identify and assess risk, and implement test solutions to help mitigate risks
Identify the quality features and test approaches applicable to mobile applications
Select the best tool to perform mobile application testing
Identify non-functional test areas and prepare appropriate tests for those areas
Understand the differences between different types of mobile applications and choose appropriate tools, technologies and approaches
Effectively use simulators, emulators, and the cloud for testing
Participate in plans that include selecting and building the right tools for maintenance
